Agripunica

Agripunica

Agricola Punica, better known as Agripunica, is the Sardinian winery born from the collaboration between men who have written the history of Italian enology: Sebastiano Rosa and Nicolo Incisa della Rocchetta (Tenuta San Guido), Antonello Pilloni (President of Santadi), and legendary Tuscan winemaker Giacomo Tachis, gathered with a purpose: to create a great, important and mythological Sardinian wine.

Agripunica is a reality of 170 hectares of vineyards concentrated to two estates: Barrua and Narcao, both located in the south-western Sardinia, in the area known as Sulcis Meridionale. We are in the heart of the appellation Isola dei Nuraghi, so called because of the presence of ancient stone towers built by the Nuragic civilization. The deep, sandy soils and large light are ideal conditions for the production of red wines, soft and velvety, elegant and sturdy, made from Carignano and other international wine varieties.

The international vocation of Agripunica is expressed in a range made up of two red wines and one white, winners of prestigious contests from all over the world. These wines are closely linked to the Sulcis terroir but close to an international taste, thanks also to the use of oak barrels for aging. Excellent quality wines that are emerging in markets around the world, intended to build, like the Supertuscan in Tuscany, a new mythology in the land of Sardinia.
