The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore "Misco" by Tenuta di Tavignano is a rich wine, with a nice personality and a good rhythm that occurs in the mouth as juicy and persistent. Born in a natural amphitheater where vineyards facing Monte San Vicino, on loose soil, in a terroir that sees a temperate climate with a high exposure to the South. We are around the hills of Tavignano, on a 3-hectare vineyard, on soils rich in clay and limestone, in a young company able to tell a good story in this important slice of Italy. A path born in the early 90s by Beatrice Lucangeli and Stefano Aymenich Laconi which soon came to be an integral part and backbone of the most classic of the Castelli di Jesi. Their Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore "Misco" comes from Verdicchio grapes in purity, collected in slightly over-ripe, with a maceration of 4-5 hours. In the glass it shows straw yellow, aromatic with an intensity ranging from summer fruits in lime blossom, with a glaze almond finish, elegant and multifaceted.
