The Champagne Brut Rosé Grand Cru "Les Romarines" by Robert Moncuit borns thanks 36 months of aging on the lees of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Robert Moncuit is a small winery founded in 1889 by the grandfather of Robert, Alex, who won thanks to 'elegance and finesse of its Champagne. We are in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a small municipality in the department of Marne place among Avize and Vertus, in the south of Reims; here, from the vineyards of over 50 years with very deep roots that transmit all'acino whole minerality of this soil rich in gypsum, borns "Les Romarines". The great terroir of the Champagne region joined a viticulture and wine-making across traditional, make the winery Robert Moncuit real pearl, able to give unique Champagne. The Rosé "Les Romarines" is another example; the aroma and smoothness of Chardonnay combined with the structure and the strength of Pinot Noir. The dosage is very low, amounting to 6 g/l, make a Champagne Rosé that goes well at the table; its freshness and its minerality make it the perfect accompaniment to dinner gallant; its varietal aromas buttery, yeast, strawberries and currants make persuasive, enveloping and intriguing at the same time. A great Champagne, perhaps the best Rosé never drank...
