The manufacturer is located on the outskirts of Le Moule in Grande-Terre, Guadeloupe. The company is a leader not only in the island of the Antilles, but, in the category of agricultural rum of Guadeloupe, also in France. The Island Butterfly remained much more authentic and Antilles Martinique and sugar cane is still the dominant crop in this region. Damoiseau is the only company to have old stock of rum up to 15 years of age and still a few barrels of the wonderful 1953 which is probably the oldest and historic rum on the market. The "Vieux Agricole" Damoiseau 5 Years is a ron agricultural amber color, with complex aromas, flavors of dried fruit, oranges, lemons and spices. It is assembled with old rum agricultural minimum age of five years, aged in oak barrels that contained bourbon. a rum dry by the powerful aromas of vanilla and cooked fruit, plums and bananas. its richness and aromatic complexity are characterized by subtle notes of wood and spices. it has a dark amber color, the nose is fruity with hints of chocolate, caramel and cinnamon. The palate soft stand sweet and spice. The finish is long and sweet with hints of roasted coffee beans.
